STORY #3: STRIKE MISSION FROM SEATTLE TO WHIDBEY ISLAND

SEATTLE, WHIDBEY, WA

WELCOME TO THE ISLAND

In the late 1700s, European explorers like George Vancouver named Whidbey Island after Joseph Whidbey, a crew member. Known for its beauty, the island is a popular destination for travelers.

Before the island, we enjoyed exploring Seattle, from Pike Place to the Space Needle, and visiting local record shops.

Just beyond the waters lies the stunning and charming town of Whidbey Island, a magical destination teeming with verdant landscapes and breathtaking vistas.

Deception Pass was named by George Vancouver, who mistakenly believed Whidbey Island was a peninsula.

From capturing daylight to exploring charming towns, we concluded our day by setting off fireworks under the night sky.

Whidbey is truly an amazing place, from playing games of UNO to exploring the quaint downtown and watching sailboats.
